Have you or someone you know been in an accident?
Sounds like a bad commercial doesn't it? It's not fun to be injured in an accident. If you were in a motor vehicle accident massage may be covered. All cases will need a prescription from you doctor which could be a D.O., M.D., Chiropractor or Naturopath.
If you were in a motor vehicle accident you will need to start a personal injury claim with your insurance company. This is under your personal injury protection coverage. It will pay for your treatment and if it is the other parties fault, they will get the other party to pay them back.
Your insurance company will give you a claim number and usually a claim representative. Please bring both of these things with you along with the prescription for your massage.
If you do not have personal injury protection in some cases, the other party will pay for your medical needs up front without waiting for settlement of the case. If this is the case I will need to speak to the claims manager to verify this coverage. In some cases your personal insurance plan may cover you.
If you were hit by someone as a pedestrian (not in your car) the other parties insurance should be paying for your medical needs up front. Again, I will need the claim number and claim representative information to make sure that the claim will be paid up front.
If the insurance company fails to pay for some reason, you will be responsible for all charges for your massage services.
Let me know if you have any questions about this or your case.
Andrea
